Kota Stone covings are used at the junction between the wall and the floor. A coving serves to round this otherwise sharp junction and prevent accumulation of bacteria and germs. As such, it is widely used in places where cleanliness is of utmost importance such as hospitals, diagnostic centres, FMCG industries, pharmaceutical industries. In fact, it is mandated by the WHO to use covings in these settings.
